Surprised by the lack of any deals for these iphones, due to the current hype of the 6s. Also with the iphone 7 expected to be released next year I would have thought that the price might have lowered. $500 for the 5s with 16gb memory is considerably high for a phone that was released in 2013. Surely the prices will drop when the 7 is released, but can't wait till September 2016. Would anyone please be kind enough to post the best price of the 5s and 6 currently? ( apart from $500 for the 16gb) thanks

The iphone 6s and 6s plus are going to be the best phones with iOS until iphone 7, why would their prices drop. No other company is going to make a better phone with iOS until then.

This is why the 'Find me a bargain' section pisses me off. Most people don't have so much as a cursory glance themselves, nor do they want to.

i've been looking at iphones and you are still looking at around 1k for an iphone 6 with 128Gb second hand…

Looks good, but the phone will be imported from another country to Australia. No apple warranty means if anything goes wrong with it, most apple stores will not even take a look it. The only warranty is with the seller, which seems a bit short (12 months). If it had a apple warranty this would be an amazing price, but it is still decent if you are ok with the seller's warranty.
The Apple market doesn't work that way. Give up everything you learned in economics 101 like demand and supply, we need to use new unorthodox economic modelling when it comes to analysing Apple consumer behaviour. Apple fans, they ain't normal.
