Good discount, but I just had to comment.
GHD is not what it used to be, they are not the same hair straightener that lasted 6-7 years. Ever since they moved production to China sometime in 2010 or so they have severely diminished in quality. Personally I have not bought the new ones as my 7 year old model is still going strong, however feedback I've received from others has been terrible, and the reviews on here speak for themselves.

There is 5 "excellent" (5 star) reviews listed in 2015, and if you notice, most of the positive reviews from further back are all in relation to the original/older models. Not to mention that in one of those reviews they said it died after 8 months but were just happy that they could replace it.
There are 21 "terrible" (1 star) reviews in 2015 alone, mostly people saying that their almost decade old straightener worked better than the new one out of the box.
