Best Unlocked Phone - Nexus 4 Size

I currently have a Nexus 4 and I'm looking to upgrade. The thing is all the phones these days are getting bigger and bigger which sucks as I have small hands. What is the best unlocked phone the size of a N4 if not smaller under $500?

    Xperia Z3 compact is about the only one that is the right size…

      Z3 compact if android, 5s if iOS. Both are great choices. Currently using a 5s with mophie battery extender = z3 compact battery life.

    You can buy a brand new samsung s6 from china for about $430.
