Dyson V6 vs Hoover Vacuum Cleaner

  Got a Dyson cordless and a hover corded. Hoover is OK but Dyson is just perfect. Better build quality n design.excellent sucking power.

  i was surprised at how good the Dyson was myself, never experienced the hoover, we have the animal but it was alot cheaper ( on sale ) when we got it.
  there is probably a reason why the hoover is half the price tho, just saying.

  I personally have not used Hoover one so I cannot give you a comparison between the two, however I can comment on the Dyson one.

  I'd say wait till Dyson comes to $300~400 region? DC59 and V6 are very similar as well (same motor I believe), I think the main difference was the new head for the V6 for some models of V6. So considering that, you would be able to score a Dyson DC59 model or a V6 model at far cheaper price than that, especailyl since I've seen them at $300~400 region (the Animal model I believe it was, which TGG is asking $700 for on your link).

  I own a DC59 Animal and if you ask me, they are decent but definitely overpriced at what they are asking. They do what they should do well, as a wireless vacuum cleaner (other than the battery life), I don't think I have more I want to ask for it to do. It sucks well, emptying it without making mess takes bit of skill but I prefer bagless over bag ones, it's easy to carry around.

  Dyson seems like a ripoff but if you want to buy a vacuum cleaner status symbol it's a good choice.

  Although, there was not much input considering everyone enjoying holidays without spending much time on bargains….I can conclude Dyson is far better than Hoover.
