Boxing Day PS3 for a patient gamer

I already have an Xbox 360 and have most of the games I want, but I really would like to play The Last of Us so thought I'd check out PS3 Boxing Day sales. Last year I remember seeing them as low as about $70 but nothing so far this year.

Decent gfx, loads of cheap games, backup bluray player, what's not to love if you can get a good bargain ;)

    AFAIK all the "new" xbox360s can't be [easily] hacked?
