Best sales? Boxing Day, January or June? Broady or Chadstone?

When are the best sales - Boxing Day, January or June? Generally, and especially for clothes, toys, etc. Apparently these three times have the best sales. Also, if the best sales are in January or June, is it best to go early, middle, or later in the month?

Is it worth going to Chadstone Shopping Centre on the or should I go more local to Broadmeadows Shopping Centre?

Would appreciate any info / advice!

    Chadstone.

    They have a new parking entrance too and new underground section opened.

    But if you wanna wait in front of David Jones in CBD and if you're one of the first 100, usually you get a really nice gift card (I heard $100 was given out). This is their boxing day tradition I think.
