$1 Gift Wrapping at MOST Westfield Shopping Centres (Proceeds to Charity)

350

Received an email today from my local Westfield regarding gift wrapping for all your christmas gifts for a measly gold coin donation:

"This year we are excited to announce our collaboration with local South Australian designer, Emma Kate and Co. to make exclusive gift wrapping just for Westfield! Cost: A gold coin donation, with 100% of proceeds going to The Salvation Army to help fellow Australians in need. Westfield will also match every dollar raised!"*

At all Westfield's in SA as far as I know. I've posted the links to the gift wrapping locations for each centre below:

Westfield Tea Tree Plaza - https://www.westfield.com.au/teatreeplaza/events/christmas-g…
Westfield West Lakes - https://www.westfield.com.au/westlakes/events/gift-wrapping-…
Westfield Marion - https://www.westfield.com.au/marion/events/christmas-gift-wr…

Edit: Have found a few in VIC that are participating also. Check your local Westfield as this might actually be nationwide.

Enjoy, and have a great christmas everyone :)

Can confirm at Westfield Parramatta as well.

  • From my experience it is pretty much all shopping centres. Stockland centres does it as well as some no name ones I have been in.

Whilst a nice community announcement. Pretty much all shopping centers have either free or gold coin donation to a charity gift wrapping for Christmas.
Not a bargain as this is usual price.

  • Called up Westfield Carousel (Canningtong WA) yesterday and was told it's minimum $2 per item.

    • There is gold coin donation gift wrapping available in Carlton city shopping centre. Towards the Murray st end.

Remember to be nice to the volunteers working there. It's a very stressful job being so busy all day, most don't even get a lunch break.

  • Ours says $2 per small present, and $5 per large present.

  • Seriously, I can't believe someone even thought to make a post like this when there is gold coin donation gift-wrapping available in every shopping centre in Australia.

Don't be an ass and ask for a trolley of 20 presents to be wrapped for a gold coin donation. I know someone working in wrapping at the moment and there are really people like this! Its charity, stop being so tight!

  • Saw this at Westfield Eastgardens on the weekend.

  • Nothing at Doncaster VIC. David Jones will do it for $10
