Guest First Bath Sheets (as Found in Many 5* Hotels) 4 for $60, Was $95 + Min $12 Post or Collect @ Main Linen

180

I always wondered where many hotels got their linen/towels from and I finally found out where, ironically not far from my home on the Sunshine Coast. I picked up four of these recently and have been using them ever since, plush, soft yet durable.

You need to buy four but you can mix colours (from memory personal collections from the outlet don't have a four minimum). These are a great buy if you want quality towels that will last a long time.

How much is shipping? I don't want to go through the whole order process to find out. Their delivery page says "A minimum charge of $11.95 postage Australia wide on standard box deliveries". Is that what applies to these towels?

    • Sorry but not sure, I collected.

I purchased 8 bath towels and 8 hand towels and postage was $19.00 to Melbourne. I'd consider that fair and reasonable.

4 towels to ACT is $14 shipping. So $18.50 per towel, shipped.

        Thanks for info all.
Not sure who negged me for asking a rather pertinent question….

    Are they towels?

Sure are, a bath sheet is the term used to describe an oversized towel:

"Bath sheets are like bath towels except they're a bit bigger. A standard bath towel is 27" x 52" inches while bath sheets usually run in the neighborhood of 35" x 60". Since there's more surface area for absorption, bath sheets can do the job more efficiently than bath towels."

Seems like a pretty good deal. I usually go to Hotel at Home for this sort of thing (warning: terrible website but excellent linen) but their prices are around $150 + $15 shipping for 4 towels.

    • Thanks for the link to that site, always looking for good quality linen. Only found Main Linen when the Holiday Inn in Darwin told me where they get theirs from.

  • Dead chuffed by this deal. Thank you very much OP.

  • Does anyone know how these compare to the Sheridan Ryan towels?

    • I recently purchased some Sheridan quick drys, these are just as good.

      • Thanks OP. I ended up checking sheridanoutlet and they have the ryan twin pack towels on special so ended up buying more ryan towels.

        • The sheridan ones look good @ 70 per cent off

  • Thanks OP got a few looks like a good buy
