I bought one in the last sale and it is still going well. Need another one for the other side of the house.
Happy gardening.

WOuld this be an option to store in the boot and use to hose down the boat/flush the motor at the boat ramp?
Only if you bolt in into the car, so that you have something to pull against (to extend it)…
… AND you have a suitably large tank of water and a pump in the car.
Hmm there is a tap I can connect it to at the boat ramp so no need for the tank of water or pump…
I was hoping the weight of the unit would be enough to pull against.
I guess I will find out soon enough as I bought a MechPro unit (see comments below) yesterday…
Bought one last time, going ok but be aware the hose is smaller in bore than a normal garden hose and water flow is therefore inferior… :-( .. !!
And when combined with high mains pressure, blows the hose off the tap as the provided fittings are poor quality.
I like a good blow.
…but not when the bits are poor quality.
Hmm not good.
Is it anti-kink ?
Don't like kinky?
No.. not the hose :)
What about the hoes?
@ratsackgamer: :)
Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced cover for these? I thought about the Hoselink covers, but not sure if they will fit nicely and they are a little pricey.
Those covers are always seem to be providing community housing for spiders?

The whole idea of these devices is to provide a cover for your hose. Why would you need a cover for a cover?
Eg: do you have a cover on your letterbox?
I would like one to protect the plastic casing with a cover that can eventually be replaced, so it lasts for longer.
Thanks, brought one from oakleigh.
I missed the deal this time too :(
When I managed to got to Repco store it was just after 5.30 and they closed the door. I missed it by a minute. There's always a next time.
Until I see the next deal on this, I think of the point made above.. this has a smaller bore.
Those who missed this deal, you might want to have a chat to your local Repco store.
I did yesterday and mentioned that the GV Tools version has a smaller diameter hose.
The guy agreed and said he had a higher quality "MechPro" version.
The MechPro has a standard 12mm hose. Normally priced at $130 but he did it for $59.99…
I am happy with that.
How long is that one?
Note the sale ends today.
