Vidal Sassoon Curl Secret Hair Curler with Bonus Bag $68 Harvey Norman

60

These are selling for $99 in most stores at the moment (sale price).
Walked inside Harvey Norman last Friday at Broadway Shopping Center expecting $100+ but they were on 'clearance' for $68.
Staff claimed they had too many in stock and needed to get rid of some.

There were around 30 boxes left.
Just thought I'd share. :)

  • Nice deal it's still 99 at Dicksmith and Shaver Shop

  • Would other stores do price match?

  • Thanks for this!
Hopefully they still have stock after work today.

  • Ohhh! Last few days was thinking I would like one of these.

Just rang Springvale store just in case and it's $99 and they are out of stock so they certainly won't be discounting them :(

  • hey I've been thinking about purchasing this too!

anyway, OP do you reckon you could give it a go and tell us your opinion of it? I've done some research already, but more feedback the better? If you can. Thanks

my 2c product gets very good reviews from most sites, follow the YouTube reviews & tutorials and here is some tips from reviewers that I have put together

"my other tips adding to above after using , watching video reviews and actually reading the instructions (how many of us do) is to ensure your hair is clean and has been well brushed/combed through so it has no tangles or knots. Its recommend that you section your hair first which makes the process much easier and you don't have lots of hair flying around!. I use approx 3cm sections at a time and slightly twist the section before placing it in the styler.

My guess on where a lot of people are going wrong is trying to put too much hair in the device and therefore it tangling/getting their hair stuck in it. when I have previously had my hair done by friends the curls have never stuck and always fall out quiet quickly, but not with this! I can't even brush the curls out it's that good.

Many people on here are saying not to use it on long hair because it gets stuck. If you put too much hair in at a time, or put it in at the wrong angle, it will get stuck. I have long, extremely thick hair and once I got the hang of how much hair to use it worked great! It is a great product overall and even though it takes some getting used to, it is totally worth it.

It works great for my hair. Mine only gets stuck occasionally. To those who are worried or get it stuck, don't panic ladies! You turn it off at the wall then gently pull your hair out of it and rotate, if you do this your will not get burnt or have to chop your hair out. (TIP: If your hair is dry/damaged, a bit knotted, if you put pieces of hair that are too large, if your hair is ridiculously long (ie. waist length) or if you hold the device at the wrong angle, your hair will get stuck.)"
