Belkin N300 Wireless Range Extender $10 @ Dick Smith

200

Just took a stroll through my local dicksmith and found this for $10. Unsure of stock or if it's Aus wide, but worth a post as I've missed out on past wireless range extender deals

Product page: http://belkin.com/au/p/P-F9K1015/

FYI, JB currently has it for $68 but they wouldn't price match

    Thanks

    • I will in an hour or so sorry.

  • There were a few at The Pines a couple of days ago, fwiw.

Which The Pines? NE Melbourne, Gold Coast or some where else?

  • " local dicksmith "
    and where is that, please?

    • Northland VIC but I got the last one.

Can someone confirm this price in other stores? I Don't want to get a train just to find out that there are no similar prices.

Don't waste your time. I searched on DS online and returned nothing

Their 'check store stock' function online isn't always accurate. Happened with a couple items I purchased the other day.

Not sure why my comment received a negative here?

DS website stated a Belkin powerboard I wanted was out of stock at my local store. Went it later that day, what do you know? They were in stock! Also picked up a travel lock, which was apparently out of stock.

An item I ordered via click and collect, was actually out of stock, despite the website saying otherwise.

Point is, call the store or go in to confirm, even if website says it's out of stock. Or don't, and possibly miss out.

  • All Belkin products on discount?

  • Question is what is it like. Most Belkin routers & access points I have used have been rubbish.

    • has decent reviews - here

      • If that is the same one, then it is even dual band. Amazing!

      • 25% of reviews at 1 star is decent?

        • The 39% of reviews at 5 stars is

        • @shapers:

The 39% of reviews at 5 stars is

Since very few products are faultless, it's safe to ignore 5 star reviews.

    • Note that WLAN is a half-duplex technology so even if it's a great unit and does extend range it will probably severely reduce the speed.

      • +1

Only if wifi to wifi extension is used. If ethernet to wifi is used then it should be full duplex.

      • Nope I was wrong. This doesn't have an ethernet connector, so it is only half duplex.

  • Any in wa was in two stores today never seen any

    • None at Mirrabooka or at either of the two Innaloo stores.

  • There were two left at The Pines on the Gold Coast. Still showing on the shelf at normal pricing, so they won't be going any where quickly.

  • Good Deal , just need to find a store that keeps it

  • The angle of the photo seems perfect!
    Did you crop it!?

    • +1

      Lol I don't think I cropped it but you're right, it's perfect!
Maybe I should give up bargain hunting for photography :)
