The Wiggles CD $0.05 @ Coles [Hope Island, QLD]

430

My wife was just doing the Shopping at Coles Hope island and noticed they had a stack of around 10-15 copies of The Wiggles CD "Hot Potatoes & Cold Spaghetti" at the service counter on clearance for 5 cents each.
She grabbed 2 copies, one for each of our cars.
Not sure if it's nation wide but if your in Coles and see them I'd suggest getting it price checked if not marked at 5 cents.
Great for the Kids on holiday trips.

Also had Taylor Swift "Red" CD and "Christmas" CD for $5 each.

Signed up just to say that I have purchased a copy at coles in avondale heights, victoria. Price was $10 but scanned in at 5c. A full box minus 1 left at 1130.

    • I've seen them too in Vic saying $10, but didn't purchase. Maybe I'll try tomorrow to get one for 5c :D

My wife wanted me to use that in the title.

  • Great deal OP! Any other stores in VIC with this hot potato?

  • I've been to a few different coles and have seen the CD, but they all say the price is $10 on the little white sign. Tomorrow I'll grab one and see if I can get a price check or something. I don't want to get to the register and have it be $10. I don't want the CD that much. Wouldn't be too bad of an investment for the children at work though if they rang up at 5c (I work in Childcare).

    • Keep us posted

      • Will do. It will probably be back to $10? I'm usually lucky, but I'm not feeling confident. lol.

      • Scanned at $10 :( I went through self checkout. Didn't get price check before hand. I also saw Cold Chisel there. This morning I was on Brian Lake's twitter. He does "Brian's Bargains" where he posts pictures of Reduced to Clear items he has bought or re-tweets pictures of bargains others have scored. Anyway, someone had posted that a Cold Chisel album at Coles (I think in Adelaide) was 5c (Link).

I picked up Wiggles and Cold Chisel and they both scanned at $10 :( It came up with that the staff member had to approve them. He came over and I said, "Oh, I don't want them anymore". He took them off for me. Sucks though. Would have liked to have had them scan for 5c! Oh well. Another day maybe.
