Where to buy a mattress?

Hi guys, I've been advised by my Physio that I need a new mattress, as my back is out, and I was told to get a medium Sealy's posturpedic. I need a queen size, where is the best place to buy one? I'd rather not spend the $1500 if possible, the lower the better. I'm open to other brands if they are equal, buying a mattress is very confusing given that they range from $500-5000 and seem to vary by only little bits.

Got my mattress from this place http://www.ergoflex.com.au/
Very good quality and quick delivery

  • You spend 1/3rd of your life on your mattress, don't cheap out on it, I know it's not the ozbargain way but considering you're going to spend that much time out it, best to get a good quality one

  • I bought a Gently Firm regal support.

It's on the way. Hopefully I will be getting it by next month.

Scoured the stores and the internet and managed to pick up a Sealy medium posturpedic queen size for a little over $1100 delivered from bedsonline.com.au with a 15% discount code. SuperAmart would price match, but wouldn't give free delivery. One thing I noticed was that Sealy basically make 3 types of bed in the standard sizes, then name them differently for each store. (So that stores don't have to price match). The beds are identical, apart from the name and the topping fabric. Anyway, thanks for the help guys, I think I ozbargained the shit out of this deal.
