      Yes, one of those too. Not a Samsung though….LG or Sony, 65" hopefully, UHD preferably, cheap definitely.

          Just personal experiences.

          I paid $6K for one and it screwed up a month after the warranty lapsed! OK, it's still useable but the horizontal lines across the screen are very off putting.

          The Samsung fridge-freezer we had was nothing but trouble and I gave it away in the end and recently bought an LG one. It's been superb.

          Oh, the LG TV in the kids' media room knocks spots off the Samsung TV too…picture (before it got crap), sound and user interface.

          There's been plenty of other Samsung purchases over the years and I have always found their customer support utterly dreadful….IMO.

          Yeah regretful Samsung owner here. I have the Series 7 line of LCD's and it's just so infuriatingly slow. There are times when it takes over 30 seconds to change a channel. Argh.
