Hey guys,
Just wanted to put this out there and see if anyone had any recommendation of apps or programs.
I work for a small business in a rural area that repairs, services and installs water pumps. We have staff who are either completing jobs in the workshop or on the road. All staff members have smart phones and mostly have internet connection (except for when they're on a property in the middle of nowhere).
I'm looking for something that allows me to manage and schedule these jobs in an efficient way particularly when they're out on the road - so I can map the most efficient route for them to attend to jobs and also easily add jobs real-time if a new one happens to come in and it's within the area they're working in.
Thanks in advance.
edit:
There are some that come up in a google search so if you have used them before, any feedback would be great (i-man, Geo-Op, servicem8, TradiePad, JobsDun). We also use MYOB and I can see there are ad ons for MYOB, but again, if you have any you would recommended?
Google Calendars. Add a task, with location, date, time etc. Google Now can pop up notifications and can also show the directions to the new job site. Would work when they are connected to the net though. If you need a checklist of To Do, then Google Keep along with it, give the doc the job's name, checklist the work needed, or they have 1 checklist with multiple jobs as items, when they finish a job, they mark it done.
Sorry haven't used any of the other apps and someone else might be able to help you better.
