Asus GeForce GTX 960 4GB vs MSI Radeon R9 380 4GB - Which one is better?

Hi all,

Simple question, which one is better - Asus GeForce GTX 960 4GB OR MSI Radeon R9 380 4GB

From what I can gather:

Asus GeForce GTX 960 4GB
* Better clock speed
* Less expensive (Not by much)
* Less power consumption

MSI Radeon R9 380 4GB
* More popular card (Between)
* Latest release (one of anyways)
* Seems to be slightly better

Reason I ask is because I'm finalising the plans for my build, and I just would like to know which one is better

r9 380 whoops the 960 in quite a few benchmarks — except in cases where the game engine usually favours Nvidia (looking at you, newly released Just Cause 3).

But it uses more power as a trade-off — roughly 70 watts more during peak usage.

As scrimshaw says, 380 all the way. IMO 380 compares more to the 970 than 960
