Braun Silk Epil Epilator for Mother?

Silly question here. Son looking for Christmas gift for mother who is 73 yrs old but still hard as nails so she is.

She is very hard to get for, probably has most stuff already, but was thinking of a Braun Silk Epil Epilator. I have one tucked away for wife, who had spoken about wanting one etc.

And have a chance to buy another that was on promo at same price.

Would this be ok for lady this age? It's not as if she is young anymore but would this be a good gift or something she not use?
I suppose everyone is different and it may just get stuck away never to be used.
Hope I'm not offending other older woman but just wonder if something like this would be ok for that age group?

  You should bear in mind these are painful. The do get relegated to the back of the cupboard very rapidly if you don't have a high threshold for pain. I personally wouldn't buy one for someone that age.

  Suggestion, perhaps lash out and get her one of those foot circulation things. It's like the Apple gadget of older ages LOL.

  She probably has one of those already i was just unsure if the braun epil was a good idea at her age,store keeps calling me to pick up unsure what to do.as not get chance again

  bad bad idea! hair removal as a present for any woman of any age is terrible! it's akin to buying someone pimple cream, deodorant, hair dye or the like! do not go there.

  Well mother i never bothered with her but wife had mentioned about having wanting one so dont see any issues there
