Gst / Duty charges on items bought via ebay?

Hi good day mates, i bought a laptop bag (swissgear to be specific) worth 55.00 aud recently in ebay. Its my first time actually to buy an item in ebay. I just want to know if there will be additional charges like duty/import and gst charges to auspost customs (on top of the postage fees) before i can actually claim the item? Any info will be much appreciated. Cheers

    No, no additional charges for something that costs $55.

      +1. Additional charges only apply for items over $1000 IIRC

        Only collected for items over $1000 sent by standard post. Courier companies collect at a lower limit (used to $250 but that was a decade ago).
        No extra charges for this item.
