Movie tickets

Looking to go to the movies on Thursday night at Birch, Carroll & Coyle (Event/Greater Union).

I didn't grab any of the $7.50 tickets so are there any other deals around?

  • Are you a Cinebuzz member??? If you aren't then it is free to join and you can get $6.50 for up to 4 adults anytime, any movie… Plus when you see 10 movies you get to see one for free…

All you need to do is sign up here. https://www.eventcinemas.com.au/CineBuzz
and then when you have an account, (you can print out a temp card) go to your local Birch, Carroll & Coyle and ask for the information sheet to add the code for cheap movies… (mine here is $6.50 as stated before)

I don't think there is an expiry date, but I am sure after a year they normally up the price for about 50c… (when I first started with the card it was $5 per movie)

    Anyway, I hope that helps…

    • what's the code?

i also have 6 unwanted off-peak screensavers vouchers if anyone is interested in buying them off me at 6.50 each + 75 cents postage

      • Good question…so the code lets you get $6.50 tickets for any movie, any time? That's awesome! Where is the code usually located?

        • Yep, my card lets me watch any movie anytime for $6.50 (excluding Gold class and 3D movies) - and it is transferable (your friends and Family can use your card) but when you can get your own for free the only reason why you would let someone else use your card is to get closer to the 10 movies so you get to watch the next one free :)

  • The code is generally specific to your area of where you live - I don't remember what my code is but I know that that the code was 2 letters followed by some numbers and my code started with CA (the first two letters for my suburb.) It is easy, just go to your local BC&C and ask them there, they will tell you what your code is for your area…

    • Rang my local and they had no idea what I was talking about.

Sent an email to the head office - will see what they say.

      Thanks mate

      • Hmmm - that is strange!?!?! I am getting the feeling that it might only be specific to my area, mainly in competition with other local cinemas that have opened up over the last few years which are much cheaper then BC&C… They might do this deal to compete against the others… So sorry if this is what it ends up being.. Kinda wasted your time if it is…

        • Just got an email saying my local doesn't have codes. :(

  • I just got an email saying that my movie tickets are now $7.50 each for up to 4 adults… So it went up $1 this time… But reading further it is only valid at the local BC&C cinemas in my area… So you might have to check and see if any of your local BC&C are doing any deals as well…
