Graphics Card Sale @ 9289.com.au

100

9289 (an OzBargain sponsor) is having a sale on graphics cards, with discounts, no credit card surcharge, and free shipping. I purchased a Sapphire Radeon HD5670 1GB for $115, which is already the lowest price on Staticice - most places are selling the 512MB version of the card for close to this, before even taking shipping into consideration.

Some of the better deals include:

<a href="http://store.9289.com.au/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=75_248&products_id=4112">Asus GF9500GT, 1GB</a> - $65
<a href="http://store.9289.com.au/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=75_246&products_id=6381">Sapphire HD5670 1G</a> - $115
<a href="http://store.9289.com.au/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=75_246&products_id=4315">Gigabyte HD5870 1GB</a> - $595

Word of advice though: their checkout system doesn't encrypt your credit card info, so if you're worried about that kind of thing, be sure to use Paypal as the payment method. The link is not obvious, "hidden" in the text paragraph underneath the other payment options.

(There's other stuff too, but it's not all free shipping, and prices range from OK to nothing special)

Not sure when the offer ends, so I've put end of Feb as a guess.

MSY has cheaper prices on the HD58xx
And the other prices don't seem that much of a bargain

To be fair…you have like a 10% chance of picking up anything at MSY. All the popular/good stuff is most likely always sold out.

  • 115 is ok
i think hd 5750 is more worth it, only 148 at msy

  • Fair enough. I only really looked into any detail at the HD5670, which as I mentioned is the cheapest anywhere including MSY (who sell the Gigabyte version for $131). Maybe the 9500GT is good too if you're looking for an older card.

Personally, I was limited to the HD5670 because of the weak PSU in my Dell, and don't yet have enough money for a PSU & graphics card upgrade :-)

    • well good on you, you made a good choice and Sapphire is good brand too.
nothing fancy but they make lots of solid reference board stuffs.

  • Sapphire HD5670 1G - $115 is a good deal, Its sold out though and is showing $145 as the price.

  • I'm not seeing the PayPal express button come up, even though it says it should be there on their checkout/login/register page. I don't want to create an account etc. Does anyone know whats going on there?
