Brother HL 2140 - Where to buy toner?

My Brother HL 2140 printer has run out of ink. Wheres the cheapest place to get the toner from?

  Try ebay? If I remember correctly, you can find some reputable sellers by searching whirlpool.

  Dont the new machines come with like half filled toners cos mine ran out real fast

  The Brother HL-2140 comes supplied with a Standard Yield Toner TN-2130 (Up to 1,500 A4 pages in accordance with ISO/IEC19752).
  The High Yield Toner is the TN-2150 (Up to 2,600 A4 pages in accordance with ISO/IEC19752).
  Sadly, MSY don't appear to sell this toner cartridge, even though they DO list the Brother HL-2140 Laser Printer (for $89). :(
  It might be worth a call though, JIC (make a cup of coffee and choose a comfy chair before you dial). :)

    Does the brother HL 2140 come supplied with a toner that does 1500 pages. I definitely dont think i have printed that many. Hmmmm

      I believe the standard that printer manufacturers use is 5% coverage on a printed page. Therefore "1500" pages refer to 1500 printed pages with 5% coverage.

  I've had an ebay saved search for a brother toner for ages and have picked up a few for $20-30… you have to be patient of course.

    Brother Compatible TN2150 Toner Cartridge [BTN2150] - Yield: 4,500 pages - 1,900 pages more than the original Cartridge (Original Catridge Yield 2,600 Pages).

  I should also state, I have this printer and it's fantastic. Easily the BEST monochrome printer I would have used. I have not had a single issue with it, print quality is okay, and only paid 43 bucks after cashback :)
