I was standing behind a guy waiting to return my rentals when I noticed his promo code actually gave $15 off! Managed to memorise it and tried it when he was finished to confirm it was not single use. Enjoy!

  • So do these Kiosks do weekly rentals and if so how do I find out which titles are weekly hire without being at a machine

    • Since there is a limited number of DVDs/Blurays in a particular machine, and you can return to any location, the actual movie selection in a particular machine at any point in time can be pretty fluid.

      Probably not much help.

      • Ahh of course but they so do weekly rents? how much?

They don't do weekly. From memory they charge you another day's rental per day for 3 days then the whole cost of the DVD (?$30)

        • @seanbsydney:

1.2 Your Movie rental/s is for 1 (one) night and is due back the following day by 9pm. A maximum of 4 rentals can be checked out per Payment Card at a time from a single VEEM. Returns will be accepted at any fully functional and operative VEEM. Your debit/credit card will automatically accumulate and be charged extended rental fees for every night it is outstanding if you keep the Disc/s beyond the due date, up to a maximum extended rental fee amount of $35 (inc. GST) (Maximum Charge). Once you pay the Maximum Charge, you have purchased the Disc/s and it is yours to keep. You undertake to keep the Disc/s in good working condition and repair as when the Disc/s was delivered to you until such time the Disc/s is returned in the original case that it was dispensed from a VEEM.

        • @chadiwrx:

Funny that paying $35 for a "used" movie disc. Bet you could buy it cheaper brand new at JB Hi-Fi.

        • @hollykryten:
I guess but JB is not going to let you pay $3 per night until you pay the full price are they, or let you use it say 3 nights and charge you $9.
Completely different thing and not comparable, most would not buy this way, its a rental.

    • Click the link, see the movies available, see where your nearest location is, go just after return time for the best chance. Pot luck really. Some machines would have multiple copies though.

    • over night only.

stealing a promo code from someone else is maybe a bit suss : /

Good effort, I'd suggest saying you 'found' a code left on a screen, rather than stood behind someone next time, lol.

  • I tried it at the kiosk near me and it said code not available on this date or words to that effect. Maybe theres a limit to how many times it can be used per day.

Oh well, used one of the other codes recently posted instead and only got one movie free instead of three.

    Thanks anyway!

  • I just tried it and didn't work for even 1 rental. says it doesn't recognise code

    • I am guessing the code expired last night.
