Power Color Radeon R9-390 8GB $408.95 P&H

R7-370 seems good, I recently purchased one from MSY for $240 ish.
R9 seems like a good deal also.
Only 10 available unfortunately.

that 390 is a very good deal. IIRC it was ~440ish from newegg during black friday sales, so this obviously a better price from an australian retailer. May be easier to deal with warranty etc.
Why so cheap? Thinking of selling the evga ssc 970 I got from amazon for just under 400. Probably will not have to pay any extra for the upgrade after selling on gumtree.
New gpus next year.
Also 960ti and the already released 380x.
I want the r9 but im pretty sure the prices will drop after christmas!
I havent seen the card this cheap ever before.
Its not going to drop more that $10 more than this price, if it drops at all.
Got the 390, been waiting a long time and haven't seen a better price from an Aussie vendor. I know there is a lot of talk about the 300 series dropping their prices by around $70+ on these cards but I'm not holding my breath waiting for Aussie vendors to pass that saving across until they desperately need to. Cheers OP!
Picked up the R9 390 for $440 a few weeks back which was the cheapest I've seen it so that's a very good price. Great card and well worth it.
those considering R9 390, make sure you have enough PSU for it(750+)! http://powercolor.com/au/products_features.asp?id=584#Specif…
You dont need 750 watts.
Mine PSU is 550, so I'm missing out anyway, I guess :/
… or maybe not?

I have an overclocked R9 290 running of a Coolermaster 450W power supply (with 2500k @ 4.6GHz) and I've never had any dramas but I'd say 550W for the minimum.
wow that is cheap for a 390
should i get another one….?
If you need more GPU power, I'd recommend selling your current 390 and getting a Fury. Crossfire and SLI aren't what they used to be, and even at their peak, they weren't fantastic.
OMG I'm so tempted to buy this but should I wait for Christmas or post-Christmas sale? ADVICE PLZ TRUE BARGAINERS!
why dont you buy on both occasions?

AMD 400 series will be released in 2016 and will be a massive improvement compared to the 300 series (effectively 200 series (effectively 7000 series)).
It is going to have a new architecture, using 14nm process compared to 28nm, it can use High Bandwidth Memory 2, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.3, use Direct3D 12.1, support Vulkan API and SPIR-V API.
The shrink from 28nm to 14nm reduces the transistor size to 1/4, mix with HBM and a new architecture and they'll be very power efficient and a lot faster.
Sometimes when you hold off a little longer, it can be worthwhile.
*** EDIT ***
I'm not saying not get this, just perhaps that is why companies might stop dropping prices.
Just a + for the powercolor PCS+, had a 290 very nice card.
Any deals on GF 970's?
Bought an Gigabyte Windfoce R7-370 2GB last month from MSY for $210 Great card for the $$
