Australia Post Price Rises - $1 Regular Letter, $1.50 Priority

Australia Post is increasing the price to send a letter by 43%. Letters will now cost $1 and take substantially longer. More money for worse service! And I do believe that increase is well above inflation. Discuss.

  20 gram letter, New York to Los Angeles USPS is 49c. I have no idea where you're getting $1.50 from, even with our terrible exchange rate.

I'm sure it has been mentioned but I suggest that everyone goes and stocks up on prepaid envelopes then your safe when they increase the price.
