How it works
•On Friday, open your Uber app between 1PM-3PM
•Request CHOPPER on the bottom slider in your app
•If available, you and 1 friend will be picked up by Uber.
•Complimentary Uber service will take you to-and-from the helipad in the city.
•Strap yourself in for a 10 minute joyride!

Pro-Tips
•Get your friends involved to maximise your chances. If they don’t have Uber yet, tell them to sign up with the promocode PERTHCHOPPER.
•Demand will be sky high and availability will be limited.
•If you can’t get UberChopper right away, keep trying. UberChopper runs throughout 1pm – 3pm

          LOL $780 for a 10 minute chopper ride. Nobody pays that. It's just like RRP. I paid $50 for 10 minute chopper ride at a local festival run by the coucil a few years back. 4 passengers on board. This was in Perth too.

          @jelko: the best case I could find from a quick google for Perth was $89pp shared (5-8min).

          As best I can tell this is private, so you can totally make out vigoursly with your +1 in the helicopter.

      I've had this happen, was an interesting day…. Not quite on the front lawn though, was in the empty block across from my home.

      On topic: OPs post says an Uber will take you to the cities helipad, then the 10minute joyride starts there before you're returned to where you were by another Uber.

        I know it's more like a competition and hence checking whether anyone got lucky to win that free ride in a chopper.
