Does Unsubscribing from Newsletters Remove Me from Competition Draws?

Does anyone know or think that this would be the case?
I dont block incoming emails from the particular sender. I just unsub from their mailing list.

Depends on the competition. You would need to check their T&Cs.

    I have a separate email account just for comps and misc. freebies. I've found that to be easier than subbing/unsubbing or using filters.
