It's the time of the year again to renew my car rego. I'm just wondering if anyone in Sydney has any recommendations for a good and reliable mechanic. Been through a few different ones in the past and manage to get ripped off for most of them. sigh. I just need one who's decent. I'm in Western Syd but I don't mind traveling for a good one. Lol last time needed a blue slip and the dude did exactly that plus windscreen wipers :( didn't think they were broken
I know a guy who does mobile servicing (he will come to you) and he's really good, he'll tell it to you straight (honestly) exactly what you need.

If you car is in good condition, check all the bulbs are working, the tyres have meat and then take it to any ultra-tune, jax, etc to get your pink slip. The price is regulated, so they make their money on $10 light bulbs and the such.
