Bridgestone Dueler Tyres (B245/70 R16 111S) and Rims $299 Set of 4 - Surfers City Holden Qld

300

Hi there,
Just got this email from the Holden dealer the car gets serviced with. Usually I just delete them but this part may be good for some.
I think its a great price but not a size suitable for me.
They have 10 packs of 4 tyres (Bridgestone) and rims for $299 per set. Pretty cheap for 4x 4WD tyres and not cheapie no name tyres, they are Bridgestone.
Or if you want it says $99 per tyre with no rim, still really cheap compared to when I bought tyres for our Nissan 4WD last time.
size is B245/70 R16 111S - no idea what vehicles it fits, they say Colorados but I am sure others as well.
Contact this dealer 07 5597 2900 as per the picture.
This is for Surfers City Holden on the Gold Coast Qld. (While you are there get your free Cappuccino or flat white and bottle of water).

I think I have all the details you need, pic shows the part of the email so all details are there anyway.

yeah I thought so. I guess they are wheels removed from when alloys are installed with bigger tyres etc.

What a great Christmas gift for me as i was looking down the barrel at a very expensive changeover until this bargain was posted.

      Glad it helped someone.
What vehicle do you have that they fitted?

      • +1

I have an older Nissan Pathfinder.
Already had Bridgestone Duelers on of same size but HL not HT
I didnt get them fitted, but they supplied the hubcaps and wheel nuts along with tyres and rims. Not bad for $300.

        • bargain. better than at least $200 per tyre.

          @PVA:
yep. the local tyre place will take them off the Colorado rims and fit them to the Pathfinder for $100 all up.
So total $400 ; less than 1/2 price.
          youbewdy goodonya

  • They are what they call 'take offs'. They've been taken off brand new vehicles that have had better wheels and tyres fitted.
Usually they've done no more than a few Kms!

edit: Sensational deal if you're after a highway tyre and have a vehicle that this size suits. (Will substitute as a wider option for 205R16 or 225/75R16, and will be fine if you have 235/70R16.)

    • Yeah. That's what ithought they would be. Removed for an alloys set.

  • Is there a second load rating figure? I need 112/110 minimum. I think the second figure is for dual wheels, which I don't have, but it still lists the 2 figures on the placcard. Stock size is LT225/75r16, but like I said, 2 load rating figures on LT tyres.

    • No idea, give them a call.

  • Very unusual for AP Eagers to be selling stuff this cheap…

Theyre Dueller HT689s if that helps people. Highway pattern, not AT or MT etc.

Yeh, these are from a Colorado RG LX model. I have the exact same wheel on the car. I've been wanting to spray them black with enamel kill rust paint but a bit scared I might stuff something up. I could get these as backup :) I can check mine when it stops raining but they'd have to be LT rated I'm sure being on the 4x4 ute. I've had it loaded up to max payload with bags of cement and it was fine. They're obviously just basic/thin side walls, have popped two already with a cactus thorn and a screw in the other. But 60,000km later there's still enough tread on them.

Great deal, even for the tyres only. Look OK tread pattern. Be good for sand stuff…

  • will these fit a nissan patrol 4wd 2008 dx 3l model? if not wheres the cheapest place to get new rims with tyres for it?

    • Just compare with what tyres you have on now.

Or have a look at the tyre sticker on your car (often in the glovebox) or look in your handbook specifications.
