Return of USELESS Minipc from GeekBuying

So I had issues with the minipc that I purchased from Ainol being used with the wifi chip not working properly as I could not connect to the internet. I determined that the chip wasn't functioning properly due to having a laptop beside it connecting wirelessly fine and the router/modem not having white/black lists.

Anyways, I returned the item through paypal and it cost me $80.
Now they're saying that I have to pay a further $80 for the fricking customs because it's stuck there.

Furthermore, paypal is asking me to provide evidence that its faulty NOW, after I already sent the stupid item back. How the hell am I supposed to provide evidence now? Are GeekBuying and paypal retarded?

Seriously, I need help.
Giving paypal a call tomorrow but any suggestions? Something that cost $130 AUD is now costing me $160 to return it for being faulty. Pretty much crying and sick of life.

  • Can I also report them to a Govt organisation for falsely identifying items and not properly declaring?

You probably could, but I wonder if it will have any effect. You chose to import a product from a Chinese store.

      • I chose to purchase from a Chinese store yes.
But they failed to declare through customs properly?

  • Let us know how the call went

    Can't believe you spent $80 returning a $130 item!
