We have an older model here and I've been using it as a second pc monitor. Resolution is good, not sure if it has something that alters/upscales the vga output.

actually looking for a spare TV to use in the bedroom to watch the odd movie or TV but just waiting for the price to drop a bit more. BTW does it have HDMI/PC input or USB input even? To answer thedon2134's question - I think you may find these products at Aldi stores, as it is a very generic brand Aldi markets.
