Free to play weekend for Elder Scrolls Online, there are also some discounts on crown purchases and I think for the game itself if you buy before the weekend is over, but I am unsure if this is only applicable to certain regions.

Unsure as I've only ever played on xbox and there seems to be a decent amount of people still playing on that platform.
Does this use micro transactions since they went free to play?
There are crown purchases which is in game currency you can use to buy special mounts and things but it isn't a requirement to keep playing.
