If I was getting someone who loved wine a present I would ask them what they wanted - Gold medals and Halliday points mean nothing when it comes to what they may enjoy.
RRP for wines is rather arbitrary in my opinion so I'm having trouble finding the value in something like this, where for the same money I could easily buy a dozen (or more) of my favourite wines from cellar doors anywhere in Aus delivered and be assured that I would enjoy each and every one of them. To me this would be more like an expensive lucky dip of well marketed wines - some of which I am sure I would enjoy, but unlikely to be able to say that for all of them.
