  • code does not reduce $63, only 14.90 savings for me

  • The Drill Shows $149 as default and $134.10 with promotion?

  • I get $149, which store? state? (mine is in VIC)

    • Im In Sydney and Same for Me.

    • i was excited for a moment -_- but good deal for QLD

  • +2

Sorry guys, this price might be QLD only. Tingalpa has this price. About time Vic always get all the deals.

    • +1

      Damn

      • Checked Tingalpa Post code 4173 and indeed it is on Clearance.

      Great for the price.

Hmm wonder if they can truck deliver to Sydney , hehe however truck delivery is absurd $40 +

    • SA doesn't have this deal… too bad!

    • Maybe You should update the Title :)

  • +1

Currently showing $70 from Canberra Airport Branch.

  • +2

    $149 Melbourne.
Love this drill and got excited to buy a spare. Disappointed. Almost want to neg the deal.

    • +5

      You won't you're scared.

  • +1

    $149 in Adelaide too.

  • This vs dewalt which one is more powerful?

    • This has a 10mm chuck which would indicate it wont take the larger size drill bits or arbors. Much as I like bosch the de walt would be a better buy if the price is close.
      Not available in WA

  • +1

North Lakes & Morayfield QLD $63 with code.

  • A BOsch for $63 is seriously cheap! Great dills!

  • +1

Purchased from Tingalpa QLD - thanks op

    • Does it include a charger?

  • +1

    Thanks

  • Does anyone know if Masters Price Match between stores ?

    • +1

Sometimes if you are lucky. I once got a 909 cement mixer for the Sydney price of $199 when they were $299 in Melbourne. Other times they just say something along the lines of local store special etc and not valid for price match. Depends on staff and how hardball you want to be.

      • Ok, Thank you .

        • +2

I can confirm no they don't, especially when it comes to clearance items like this

  • Also noticed this isn't the good 18V green drill. Not two speed (drill/screws) and no battery level gauge. Lower 28Nm torque instead of the normal 46Nm.
Still a reasonable price for Qld people, but not as good as I originally thought.

    • So if i was to purchase this drill to use to put screws in stuff would it be ok for that ? I have no idea when you say torque. Does that mean it wouldn't do it as fast or as powerful ?

      • +1

depends on the 'hardness' of the timber you're drilling into. For pine and similar soft wood species, you'd have no issues drilling screws straight in with this drill. For harder species of timber, simply drill a pilot hole with drill bit that's slightly smaller than the diameter of your screw first. Then once pilot hole has been drilled, this drill shouldn't have any issues driving in the screw.

torque is torque. not power or speed. the turning force. As a child I used to visualise it by grabbing a toy electric car's wheels, and the wheels could be stopped with my tiny hands. However, with another toy car, and although slower than the 1st car, the wheels would keep moving no matter how much i tried to grip the wheels. The second car had a lot of torque.

The drill will also struggle more, but not necessarily be slower.

Thank you for your explanation. Makes sense t me now . :)

    • Drill expert, I am looking at getting a high quality drill. Which brands - models would you recommend? Cheers,

      • +1

I'm not the drill expert you asked but the makita lxt I've got is great. Other brands favoured by many are dewalt and milwaukee. Get Panasonic if you're loaded.

        • Thanks for that drill expert no. 2. Much appreciated.

  • Yeah i already have a Makita drill driver that I got on a previous deal, then a 12V skil before that, and a stanley fatmax impact set, so i have enough. great present material here for $63

  • +1

Showing at $149 for all the 4 Gold Coast stores.

  • 28Nm is a bit disappointing isn't it? Even the new range of Ozitos have 50Nm?

  • Don't forget cashrewards ;) Any recommended drill bit sets for an amateur?

  • I wonder if we could work out a system that gets OP to purchase for everyone and post out for a fee say $5 ontop of delivery charges. That way its not necessarily brodening but helping out OP for the hassel. This could work with every other deal thats specific to a certain state.

  • +2

$134.10 for me with that 10 percent off coupon, does not have any discount as OP states. Store checked was Qld 4211.

    • +1

Yup, Mackay and Rockhampton also don't have the discount. Seems to be selected QLD stores.

  • possible to price match QLD store with vic stores? + the 10% difference and the coupon code should make it cheaper than $63 lol.

  • Had a look at Bunnings - and saw a Li2 (is that reference to Lithium Generation 2 and is there a big difference?). Was thinking of buying the Bosch Impact Driver Skin from Bunnings- hoping the same battery will be the same from the masters Li1

    • i think the li2 has a 2 speed gearbox

  • The price is back to $149.

    • Price is still valid, it was only ever at a few selected stores.

      Try these postcodes:
      Parkinson qld 4115
      Canberra act 2601
      Cairns qld 4801
      Tingalpa qld 4173

      • We went to both Tingalpa and Parkinson stores today and neither store had any left. The only thing Parkinson had was a drill with no battery pack for $70 .

  • Rockhampton QLD 4701 showing as $149.

  • out of stock Tingalpa now

  • Not for sydney

  • +2

Just remember this is green Bosch, not the higher end blue Bosch.

    • Was just about to point this out too - this is Bosch's cheap line, not their good stuff. Might still be ok but don't expect top tier quality.

  • Out of stock Canberra Airport ACT (according to website)

  • bought one, green bosch or not, it is still an upgrade off the ozito drill i bought and had to return 3 times for various issues…..

good thing was that i got my entire spend back, the original $79 plus 10 for warranty swapping to the newer model.

this one has a carry case, a charging dock which i really like, and LiOn batts, which are better than nicad batts.. just a simple diyer so this is great for me.

i do have a diy project involving drilling through some steel angles, so that may be a litmus test for this drill. but the ozito did well with drilling through steel, hopefully this wont have an issue..
