I was wondering if anyone has tried the razormate (razormate.com.au)? It claims to keep your shaver sharp for up to 20x longer which is a massive claim.
Anyone have experience with this? I'm sick of playing big bucks for my razor blades so I'm tempted to try it.
I have a 'Razor Pit' which is a similar product. I don't believe they actually "sharpen" your razors but actually helps to clean out the cream/hair/skin that gets trapped between the blades - which certainly helps with shaving.
However, as per the above post - there are several (free) ways to achieve similar results.
I have purchased a Razor Pit from Shaver Shop and can vouch for it. Blades definitely dont last 20x, or whatever they claim. 3x is more accurate.
Yes, it keeps the razor sharp, but not by sharpening. It is more of a cleaning device.
Think I saw them on special in shavershop when I walk past. Not sure if really cheap though,

just use some old denim and run the razor backwards along the material. keeps razors sharp.
