      • if you are looking for cheap swann have their DashView Ultra 3MP Wifi unit going for $50 (66 shipped) for refurbs on swannstore.com.au or the perennial favourite of the g1w if you can find one you know is genuine is about the same (banggood seems ok - recoding in MOV not AVI is a big clue they are the real deal). Otherwise look on DashCamTalk - the dome units seem to be recommended atm if you want gps, motion detection etc etc

        • Mind if i ask how you run the power cable to the camera from cig socket? Or did you hardwire it to the fuse box?

          keep to get one, but hate cable spaghetti

          Cheers

          @chriskq:

          Cig socket I have Kit but lazy to do it

          Btw This version dash cam has no cap in it, it's a little more expensive. Wondering why I bought it? I leave my car outside, when the heatwave comes the cap inside won't blow up and potentially burn my car

        • @bti_jet: Thanks for the reply, mind if i ask where and how much you got the fuse box kit from…. even though i dont think im smart enough to do it myself, might save me some bux by taking it to a carshop and just paying for labour.

        • @chriskq:

          eBay paid $3

          Best to install yourself they will charge you around $50 for labour. It shouldnt take to long 1hr the most if your not car savvy. Half that if you know what your doing

        I remember been given one of the digital photo frames which was garbage went in the bin pretty quickly, It was mailed to me when I was living overseas so it is a little difficult to return it to the store.

    This estore still owes me the charges they incorrectly deducted when giving a "full refund", after multiple follow-ups. Gave up. So beware your customer service experience may vary.

  • They stuffed me around before. Only resolved through a bank chargeback
