    Yeah looks like the usual price is $1090, so a $155 saving not $314.

    No we usually sell these for $1090.

    The title was edited by a ozbargain power user to show the (Save $314.05), we didn't add that to the title..
    We'll add our normally sale price to the description if you think it is a good idea.

      The title has now also been changed to show the discount off our normal selling price. Wouldn't want to miss lead anyone.

  Yamaha are great amps. I have a very similar model. A friend of mine who repairs amps considers Yamahas one of the best amps around. He was the one that got me my amp :)

    We don't currently sell Onkyo so would not be able to offer your a deal on that product unfortunately. Onkyo does not have alot of competition at the moment on that size system / price point which has the Dolby Atmos receiver and top firing speakers.

    The only Dolby Atmos system which we are currently selling is the Yamaha YHT-9920 which uses larger speakers, in-ceiling speakers for overhead sound and a higher powered receiver. But it is gonna cost about twice as much as the one you were looking at so is not really comparable.

  how do you rate the Onkyo product?

    We haven't listened to them and have only read over the specs so couldn't really say.
    Had listened to some order (about 7-8yrs ago) model Onkyo / Integra Receivers which were really good at the time.

    Some of the more recent models have had issues with their Hdmi boards failing so hopefully they have fixed that issue.
    If so it should be a pretty decent system for the price and definitely worth considering.
