    $169 from Officeworks on "clearance" and closest inc delivery on the internet is DWI with $150 (if you hang around on the site you'll get a code to lower the shipping $10, $160 if you don't).

    There are plenty of other 10MP cameras under $100 though so if someone who knows how to compare these budget cameras properly, please speak up.

      The way to compare compact cheap cameras =
      1) Does it have optical/sensor shake reduction?
      2) What is the sensor size?
      3) What is the optical zoom?
      4) What is the maximum iso
      5) What kind of charging/storage system does it use

      Personally I would also add in : Does it do 720p movie recording?

      This camera is about average even age this price, the special feature of this camera is that it looks fashionable.

      You normally wouldnt find optical/sensor shake reduction at this price point.
      Personally I quite like the pentax e80 camera which is being sold at $130 at a few places beacause:
      it has 31mm wide angle rather than the usual 35mm
      HD movie mode (720p)
      AA battery system Which makes it foolproof to change batteries but it does add to the cost as a charger isnt included in the price.

      A better deal is a Nikon s220 from Harvey Norman, Capalaba, for only $137. They said it was store special. It is also available at Officeworks at $147.. It was not available at Capalaba store. I was not going to waste petrol driving to another store just to save $6 from match deal at OW. So I bought it at HN..
      I won't pass Nikon for reliability.. good luck….
