    • Thanks!

      • Add it to the OP.

    • Not really free

since you need to pay shipping for a no name brand

So the shipping cost is probably what this card is worth

      • True but it's still cheap.

        • would not trust my data on a no name brand…

speed would probably be shit as well..

    $1.28 AU.

    • How come Paypal charged me $1.44 ($1 USD)?

      • Because PayPal is a rip off. $1.28 was Zapals' conversion.

  • sold.

  • Will not let me check out, as minimum order is $0.10, anyone know of any 10 cent items on the site?

    • +4

Are you sure you followed the steps correctly? I didn't have any problems like that.

      • Thanks, works when I go directly to checkout.

  • 13.5% cash back at PricePal.

    • +2

Tempting, but it took so much effort to login for the $0.15

Still waiting on the 'free' Phone cover https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/219202 from 3 weeks ago and the USB reading light https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/221946 before I part with any of my money.

    • +5

thanks i skip this one. good luck everyone..

Meh, it's 1/3 the price of a coffee.

      • +1

Last one I bought was $6.80!
And it was just OK quality/taste.

        • That's an expensive coffee :)

        • I don't know what my sd cards taste like. Maybe I should….ohwait.

        • Was it huge?

        • @sween64: I've actually never seen a coffee I'd call huge.

It was a common "Large" (some might call XL) mocha. Blairgowrie, Victoria. Wait was a joke, along with (lack of) service. So when the payoff (flavour/quality) never came, it was a kick in the nuts.

I hate that they make me feel/sound like a coffee snob.

      • I'd go for the coffee. As long as it's not hungry jacks version.

This is an unbranded microsd card, from a store I've not heard of.
Will it actually be class 10 speed, I'd pay the extra $3 for local brandname ones when they come up.

        • Meh, there are lots of uses where it doesn't matter. $1.28 is just play money. It's the large purchases like house, car, etc, one needs to put more diligence into.

  • +1

I bought one, any issues I'll log a paypal dispute and get my $1.28 back :)

  • Weird, I had to add two in the cart to access checkout then drop the quantity down to one. It wouldn't let me proceed otherwise.

    • Yeah that's weird. I guess it worked for me because I had another item sitting my cart from before and once I removed that, it worked.

Ordered & paid by paypal but didn't receive any email receipt. Went into Zapal account & it says "Order#xxxxxx - Address Error". But I've completed my Australian address correctly. Enquiry sent to Zapal. Perhaps this deal is for USA only?

    • My order went through fine. It's a parcel locker, in fact. Should ship to Australia no problems I think, Auspost was listed as a shipping method. Drop shipped from China, no doubt.

    • Nope, I've added my AU address in there fine, and received the notification email.

Mum's phone needed a MicroSD for taking photos, so this has saved me sourcing one from elsewhere..

      Thank OP.

      • same boat, but me for granny

    • Received reply from Zapal confirming order & will be sent soon.

  • +1

Ordered - but last time free USB lighting is still processing >,<

  • +3

Definitely skipping this one. The free case i ordered nearly a month ago still hasnt arrived.

    • Ditto!

    • +3

One month is pretty normal for Chinese drop shipped stuff.

  • Click to pay but then no option to pay. Regular paypal paying window doesn't appear.

  • Ships complete with malware?

  • -1

    Expired :(

    • Just ordered one and it worked. At first the code from the website didnt work but then i copied the one above and it went through. Not sure what the reason is maybe have to try a couple of times. Anyway thanks op!

      • Are you using Chrome?

        Try IE

  • Has anyone ever ordered from this co and received the item?

  • +1

Worked for me (at least to order it) - worst case is I lose AUD$1.24. Used PayPal in case of any other issues…

    • True..

    • +1

you think $1 is nothing. but it's 10,000 order and it's big money for them. the westerner's mindset like this that make china a big country now with huge dollar reserve.

  • Just ordered one..

  • +1

Ordered… will see if I get anything.

    • my last free order still processing. perhaps if we pay $1 extra they will process it sooner

  • Just did it. Thx OP

  • ordered one

Don't know what I am doing wrong, but I've tried Android Browser, Chrome on Android, IE touch, IE Desktop and Firefox and for some reason the Proceed to Checkout button doesn't do anything. Screw these guys.

    • +1

      Same problem with my iphone

    • +1

apply the coupon on the last checkout page. Wont let you proceed if you apply it on the previous page

      • +1

        Thanks mate that worked

  • thanks, purchased.

  • ZAPALSDECSP1 has expired..

Edit: This was a chrome problem. Worked OK in IE

    • +1

Interesting - just ordered it in Chrome, even with Ghostery and AdBlock…

  • still in processing the free LED data plug from last promo. been a week and no progress

    • What do you expect from a free item?

      • +1

expecting they fulfil their promise. i gave them my detail, in return i want them to be honest as well

        • I don't understand how they're being dishonest? You signed up for a free product and you are complaining that it hasn't arrived after a week.

        • @tranqme: have u seen other's comments about order still in process after almost a month?

        • @brongz: Yes I have, but at the end of the day it was FREE.

    • +6

We have 50000+ items to be processed globally. Our team is working very hard on it right now. Also we spent lots of time on those duplicated customer orders (our promotion limited 1 per customer, but many customers made many duplicated orders). We are doing honest business and will keep our promise for sure. Please kindly allow a bit more time for us.

      • Could you please advise when Australian customers are likely to receive their orders for this 8GB Micro USB card?

        • We will use Australia Post international air post service, they told us will take about 15-25 days. But to be honest, personally I have a bid worry about the Christmas holiday. Just want to 100% transparent no hidden.

        • @zapals: you mean you sending it from overseas, but using australia post as courier. how does it work? sorry i know nothing about it, thought you use auspost so item located in aus, hence take less than a week to deliver

        • @brongz:

Probably drop ship a large order to Australia, then from there post out?

        • @brongz: We have 3 different bases: Australia, mainland China and Hong Kong.We have been doing merchandise business in Sydney for more than 20 years. After considering jump to global market online, last year we set up our main logistic warehouse in mainland China to distribute the products around the world which is more convenient and cheaper. For these promotions recently, we send the product from Shenzhen warehouse in China because these promotions target global customers (mainly in Euro and US). And that's why the promotion start time is at midnight Australian Time usually. But because Australia is our original market, we care about the customers here. And that's why we sometimes adding more extra stock for Aussies if it's grabbed out by customers in Euro and US. We plan to do some promotions only target Australia market in the future and the stock will be send out from local warehouse.

  • Thanks, ordered one (:

  • +1

still waiting for my Premium Tempered Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 6/6s xD

    • Same LOL

    • That you ordered last week? Don't be so impatient.

  • $1.28 for me. Thanks OP.

  • Yes, prices are correct.

  • Yumcha brand. Don't put anything on it that isn't backed up somewhere else.

  • +1

Bought one. Changed to USD and used 28o card to save those few extra cents.

  • Just wanted to report that I received my sd card the other day. Not able to test it yet as I had it posted to somewhere I don't have a sd card reader… :(

  • Got mine also a few days ago.

  • +2

Well, here are the benchmark results. Speeds are …. unimpressive, but hey, its $1.28

    http://imgur.com/MrhitRk

    Average Read : 7.4 MB/s
    Average Write: 1.8 MB/s
    Access time : 11.4 MB/s

  • Got it today. 64MB/cent - can't complain!

  • Mine arrived yesterday. Probably will put it in a RPi.

  • Got mine today. I came pre-loaded with a bunch of music from 2013 and it won't let me format it …. it's going in the bin, a waste of $1.28

    • Raise a Paypal complaint yo. Not what you ordered.

    • Did you make sure the write latch is enabled?

      • Yep the latch on my adapter is somewhat finicky and moves to the lock position on its own.

  • Just got mine. It only contains the adaptor but not the microSD card!! Contacted them and see what they will say. May be I should raise a dispute at paypal as well.

    • That sucks! Keep us informed.

  • My Zapcard writes at 3MBytes/sec and reads at 10. A class 4 Samsung card writes at 4.5MBbytes/sec, reads at 10. Silly impulse purchase.
