Seems to be a good price for the Garmin Fenix 3.

From all reviews it's a brilliant multi-sport watch.

Likewise the 920xt (triathlon) is also well priced at $498 with HRM-RUN included https://www.bicyclesonline.com.au/garmin-forerunner-920xt-bl…

Pity I just purchased a very much sub-par TomTom Spark.

  Good price . I have the sapphire edition and happy with it. Keep in mind it looks like this one doesn't come with the heart rate monitor. Without it the watch only uses half its features. Not sure how much the HR monitor sells for these days but it used to be around $150. (You can't use the old HRM Straps that don't have the accelerometers.
  I got the sapphire edition with HR Strap during the eBay 20% off sale for $600, haven't seen it near that price since.

    that's incorrect about the old HR monitor, you can use any of them, you just don't get the extra features

  Certainly a nice watch but people seem to be complaining about its GPS accuracy a lot.
