About to buy my first TV, which of these is the better option?

I have very little knowledge of TV's but with the current sales (and the fact we only have a small TV at home) we are looking at buying one of the following:

    They are both as good. Question is do you need 3D? If not, you can pay slightly lesser to get the Samsung one. I got a 3D tv and I only used the function 5 times max. Otherwise, I would choose the LG TV since it looks nicer and it appears to be more energy efficient (it is silent on the Samsung one so probably note so good perhaps?).

    On a separate note, I wish TV manufacturers would state their their GTG response time in the spec sheet given that many people use it for console gaming these days.

      Console gaming is definitely important though

    Go for 200hz.Rest is same.

    Go on rtings site and compare, there may be a difference in model numbers (US site), but you should be able to figure it out based on the features across the different models.
