Didn't PNY secretly change the flash chips used in these and the benchmarks are only hitting a quarter of that now? Thats why I havent even bothered to buy this brand anymore since this scare and there's a lot of people who claim this too on the Amazon reviews.

    • I just did a quick Google search and found a thread on the Adobe forums apparently it used to have write speeds of about 180MB/s and has now gone to the low 120ish. So the benchmark is probably accurate and their sale page gives figures of 1.39GB in 13 seconds, so technically they're giving you pretty realistic figures of what their product can achieve.

      • I have the older model just copied a 1.3 gig mkv over to it and took 18 seconds.

      • Its not the older models that has issues.. its the newer ones. Sort the Amazon reviews by date and you'll see they will complain of either high rates of failure or poor performance..

  • Got one, thanks.

  • For $25.04 who cares about the speed. Awesome deal for 128GB!!

  • It was USD $19.99 when I clicked on it this morning
    Now $24.99
