Technically possible. activated on exactly expire day once, it worked and one sim didn't. Call up, email, visit a store to validate and verify the card with all the rubbish twit advise from junior staff. That god worked at last!
by raise it to a manager on the phone after go through like 12 hoops with the Fed up unhelpful initial staffs suggestions, the manager do a manual $30 top up on a new sim card. My experience would say never try it.

You need to re register and activate your sim each time you get a new one.
