Word of warning guys. I got the deal that was supposed to come with Fifa 16. Game/digital coupon wasn't included in the box. Apparently the eBay store was advertising a deal that was incorrect. Still awaiting a resolution.
So don't count on opening the box and finding a game.

It's a download code for the Lego movie game, savvy parents will crack the xbox ahead of time and make sure all the downloads are done before XMAS morning..otherwise junior will be starting at an expensive paperweight for hours.

You can only get 2.5% from eBay cashrewards, to get the 6% you have to buy from target website which you won't be able to get this 20% discount.
To get cash rewards, go to their website, search for eBay and click on the 'go to store' button it will redirect to ebay store, then search for the deal and buy.

looks like they are going for $120 used on ebay… sometimes cheaper on gumtree have gone for as little as $50 at some places.
Two weeks ago I walked into Target Unley and got a Xbox + Kinect + Forza 5 + Titanfall bundle for $349. Accidentally used the Forza code but looking to offload the Titanfall game and 1 Month Xbox Live Gold membership.
Why was it going for that cheap?

It's a rather old bundle, probably clearance. I don't think many realise that Microsoft updated the xbox one controller mid this year to fix the problems with the older one.

Kinects go from anywhere from 50- 70 on gumtree picked up mine for 50 and the bonus is you can see before you buy it
be careful with the kinect items on ebay….picked up one from a seller that ended up using the same pic for all items. Was $99 it wasnt new as stated and was dirty and marked and dented. in the process of going thru a paypal dispute at the moment. then after was lucky to pick up one for $50 a few days ago that was in perfect condition
obviously the same logic applies to buying anything on ebay in general, unless its from a store that is.

$349 - $429 FROM Target :) i picked one up for $429 with Black flag, Unity and Dance central but i really wanted the Kinect sensor and it was better value getting it bundled.

i got the 500GB model with kinect and just added a 1TB USB 3.0 Portable storage drive i had laying around.
Installed 7 games and i have 178GB FREE on the 500 Internal drive and 1TB free on the external.. if you want allot of games then get the 1TB if you are happy with 10-15 games installed only then 500 is heaps.
The 3 game pack is a much better deal for a 1TB Xbox one. .. Halo is only $45 new and Gears of war is by itself $45 + 2 other games.

Not as good as the previous deal. Got XB1 + FIFA for $341. Target couldn't send me the FIFA so they gave me a voucher for $100.
$241 for barebones XB1 console.
After this deal the lego game is prob going to be worth $10 at most. In fact target is selling it brand new for $19. worthless game.
$341 vs $319. The Lego Movie Game goes for $45 (average price) vs $69 for Fifa 16 So overall this probably works out the same as the fifa bundle.
It would probably be easier to sell the lego movie game as its cheaper.
Maybe. Pretty happy about my $100 voucher though! Fifa sells for around $50.
By the same theory, most of the bundles are probably just as good as this Target deal if you strip them down. As an example, the Big W Fallout Bundle for $489 is $391 with discount, and that game seems to be getting $50 on ebay if you sell it straight away, so $341 for the blank console, but it's the 1TB, so that has to be worth the $20-$30 difference for many people. JB battlefront bundle comes down to a similar amount if all 3 games sold for $50, even better if you get a discount voucher for the initial purchase at JB. Even the Microsoft bundle for $449 with Kinect will probably go sub $319 if you sold off all of the extras.
In theory the console I bought would be $240 stripped down :)

Exactly, but the main point is 700+ people jumped on this, hardly any seem to care that the stripped down value is basically a normal Xbox deal. You could argue it's a stress free $319, but it's not certain Target will easily fulfill these orders yet.

Got my xbox with game coupon this morning
Was the game coupon in the actual Xbox One box or seperate? My parcel arrived but it appears to be just the Xbox One console box inside it. Not sure whether the game should have been in the parcel seperate to the Xbox One, or it will be inside. I'm trying to avoid open the actual console box as it's a gift.
The game coupon WAS NOT inside the Xbox one console.
It came seperatly inside the same cardbord box with the packing mail slips. Call them up and demand coupon or gift voucher :) it will be awesome if you can score a $100 gift card
I always open gifts like consols.. They can be dead out of the box.. And if you return it to target after 30 days instead of exchanging it they will send it off to repair even if you hvent even used it.. Its best to test it before wrapping.. Also update too.. Its easy to seal it back up like it was never opened .. Thats what i did.. Looks new.. Also used spare eneloops i had for the controller so i didnt unwrap the durasels:)
