Before you activate, have a look at their call rates. :)
so true - a cheap sim that you pay for with each call is NO Bargain. Optus are slowly eating away any of their call advantage they used to have, they have closed down isim and other previous cheap offerings. Now the market is saturated they are going for revenue thru increased rates rather than increased subscriber numbers.
I've found that mobile providers are full of terms that you need to check the definition for to make sure it's what you want. In this case the bonus credit for the International Calls 4 Less appears to mean this (expand the T&C section on that page):
"Rev Up Bonus only available when you recharge with a credit card or Paypal online and can only be used for national and international calls and text and internet browsing. Rev Up bonus excludes premium SMS and content, international roaming charges, Zoo content usage charges, Instant Messenger, video calling, 966 and Satellite calls."
Ok, that's not bad, provided you can live with the call rates. I was suspicious it might be something useless like bonus SMSes (on another plan) which on closer inspection turned out to only be usable to other Optus prepaid subscribers. A great lot of use that was, I don't know anybody in that category so I still have all of the original 420 they gave me.
pff, I've been requesting a free sim for ages now and they never come despite saying "5 business days" to be delivered.
I got one in early January, not sure why you didn't. Note that if you buy a prepaid Optus phone it will come with a starter SIM so I ended up with two. You're welcome to my extra one but you have to pickup or pay postage. :)
The SIM's do come.
I order and got all 10 of the ones I ordered.
You got your own address wrong; or did not show up at the post office with sufficient ID.
The package is always sent by Registered Post.
If its International calls U want to make I think the goTalk Mobile plan is better
