My mother inlaw has a Telstra prepaid plan called on rate.
She doesn't really make too many calls so I was wondering if it's worth her changing to something else?
Old Telstra on rate plan worth keeping?

ON RATE rates are pretty high. Probably better off with Simplicity plan for low usage. Check how much she uses it, what the current expiry is, etc.
Boost (still Telstra coverage) $20 plan:

I wouldn't keep it, no. 70$/365 Longlife-> Simplicity/Freedom plus are the go.
They have moved a whole heap of people off old postpaid plans (mine was started in 2010 and was affected). I am not familiar with the one you're talking about. It would obviously depend on how much she usually ends up spending per month (or averaged out if it's a longer life deal), and how she uses her phone. If it suits her usage pattern and is still available to use, keep going. It seems as though you must spend at least $30 per month on the offers that they have available now.
