Not sure till when this is valid but once you qualify your address, and it shows WA, you get a banner saying that on a 24 month plan, 2 months are free of charge, coupled with the waiver of the $ 125 setup fee.
Pretty good deal.

That's why South Australia offer 10c/can, they'll get the coke can & string NBN first
Same for most of us in Oz ;-)
I wonder when they start using HFC Optus/Telstra cable for NBN in some areas if there will still be the type of congestion you get now with a lot of users in the same street being on it at the same time? Let's hope the node street boxes change this.
I have terrible congestion with optus at peak hours - just as an FYI anyone looking into this. highly recommend to head over to whirlpool and check if anyone else from your area is having the same problem
My issue in WA is that most carriers have Agg ports only in Sydney. Unless you go with AMCOM, iiNet, Westnet or Telstra. AMCOM is not bad but for the little extra, you get the entertainment pack too.
Using NBN to my remote desktop was better with Exetel ADSL but since the switch to NBN, it's been painful.
Will check it out but my primary use is downloading podcasts late at night and remote access.
Why are WA customers so special?
There's no NBN, so they could offer the 24 months free…….still wouldn't be a bargain.
Ă‘nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn,nnnnnnnnnnnnbnnnnnnnnnn!
Our Perth suburb isn't due to get NBN until mid-2018 … and even then, I'll believe it when I see it.
Except there's no NBN and won't be for the foreseeable future
