Unlock other actions
Complete the above actions to unlock the rest!

You will need a public, unlimited Steam profile to take part in this giveaway.

P.S.: Apparently reloading the page works fine for those who have problems getting a key immediately.

  • Another game for my badge. Cheer!

    • Which one are you going for? 250 or 500 they are I believe.

      • i got 100+ game now, i think the next one is 250.

        • Yes, that's right. Hopefully IG and Bundlestars keep the free games coming. ;-)

  • "You will need a public, unlimited Steam profile"
Checked my profile and its public but I don't know what unlimited means.

i changed all 3 settings on my privacy setting to public, got the key then put them back to friends only. shits me that i have to do that to get some of these (mostly pretty shitty) games

      • Well, this game is not too bad.
While I share your disgust about all that data collection, keep in mind that (a) you do not really have to do it and (b) nothing in life is free - here you just pay with your info but you could choose to pay with money for the game.
I skip some freebies if they want too much and are too complicated.

      • All 3 public so my problem must be the Unlimited part.

        • That's bloody Steam then.

    Steam page: http://store.steampowered.com/app/297020/
(Please always add Steam links so people can check the reviews, etc.)

While I appreciate your comment, that is not always possible due to time and the device being used.
I do think too that it won't be too much to ask people to look it up themselves if they are really interested in doing so.
I am not a big friend of spoonfeeding.
I will add it if I can but hope that this is not being made a thing.

      • Yet you were able to post the ratings and trading card info?

        • -4

Yes, because that was in my e-mail. Not the steam link. And I can access my e-mail easily. Not so much Steam when not at home.

Also, is it really that much to ask of people to google something they get FREE?

For those confused about the "unlimited steam profile", all it means is that you've needed to spend at least $5 US on the Steam store (either added it to your wallet, redeemed a steam gift card or simply buying from the store). Once you've spent money your account becomes "unlimited"; it's just a feature to prevent spammers and scammers and until you do so your account is limited.

Or not. That is the official explanation but scammers will not be prevented by a $5 barrier. It is to make money (see discussion threads on Steam forums) - that seems to be the majority opinion and I am inclined to agree.
But thanks for the info - much appreciated as it is helpful for people who did not know.

      • That's the official explanation because that's why it was implemented. In case you're unaware, Steam's popularity has surged in the past 3 years and Valve has needed to put in measures to prevent scamming that goes along with their F2P games and the Market. It has nothing to do with Valve making an extra $5; with the amount of revenue they make that is unsubstantial.

  • Sure. 5 is an enormous barrier for scammers. Definitely.
And I believe everything said on tv, too.
    Come on.

With millions of people times 5 the amount is not tiny.

    But let's agree to disagree.

Due to the "freedom of speech" and the right to one's opinion I still expect plenty of negs.

    • With millions of people times 5 the amount is not tiny.

but you dont have to pay $5 to unlock it, you just have had to have bought a game for at least $5. frankly anyone who has not bought a single game is not the sort of leach they really want on there servers anyway.

also on a $5 game its not like they make $5 profit. it would have only been a much smaller percentage of that.

      But let's agree to disagree.

lets not. thats nothing more than the catch cry of someone who knows they are wrong but simply cant admit it

      • Dude, there are many people who agree with me. Check the Steams forum.
Maybe you are in the wrong.
And not everyone plays on Steam servers so your argument is flawed there already.
There is nothing wrong with having a Steam account only containing gifted games. They were bought too.
