Hi All,
I have been on the lookout for a deal on a QNAP TS-451 4-Bay NAS.
Shopping Express currently have the unit on sale for $489 plus $11.70 delivery to NSW/VIC/QLD (Delivery to other states have it $12.95-$17.10) which comes to a total of $500.70. This is the cheapest I could find it online including delivery (Next cheapest on staticice and shopbot is mwave.com.au which have the unit for approx $525 including delivery).

The unit comes with 1GB RAM unit. If you intend to upgraded, some known working DRAM for TS-x51 (http://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=96533):
- Kingston KVR16LS11/4 (4GB PC3L 12800 CL11 204 pin SO-DIMM) - single or in a pair

The above RAM can be found for approx $70-90 from PC stores such as MSY, Skycomp, PCCG. In comparison QNAP 4GB Apacer DDR3L SODIMM PC12800 retails at $100+.
Shame you missed this trifecta with the ReadyNas 314. Sure, it uses more power, but for $499 with something out of Group B and C Say for example a 3TB NAS HDD and and 32GB flash drive, ~$140 in value) as well, would've offered far greater value for money!
