Can anyone suggest an app that I can install on my phone and my wife's phone so that we can record our expenses etc.
It would be good if the app would sync between our phones so when I update it she can see it and vice versa

I've used Toshl in the past. Syncs to server after every expense
If any app has login details I'd assume you can access it from multiple devices but might be worth googling to see if it works fine
Gave up budgeting after I realised anything extra is spent on OzBargain

I've been using it for a few months and it is my favourite app in terms of design. Really easy to use.
Syncs by dropbox which may or may not work for you.

It's the only one I've tried, so I'm not sure if it's the best. It does sync whenever you make a change, though.
