  • ummm $35 worth of food for $60 …. wrong way round, $60 worth of food for only $35..

  • +1

Maybe mention how the site works in your post, as you cant buy this unless you get enough people interested.

  • I get what you're saying but it's worded weirdly. You mean $60 worth of food for only $35 ;)

  • Edit: Oops, should learn to read XD

  • Okay im confused.

Do we have to spend 35 dollars now to receive a 60 dollar gift voucher at Bistro Lilly?
And not just that - they need a minimum amount of people in the 3-4 day period for the gift card promotion to work?

Also Bistro Lilly doesn't look that great.. perhaps on launch day they should have launched something more exciting e.g. spend 10 dollars to get 60 dollars worth of value?.. that'll get people talking!

  • Also can someone confirm if you can use the voucher 2-3 times per sitting?

I guess if the restaurant was a favorite then i can easily see my self purchasing 2-3 of these things for a special occasion hmm?

Oh and another thing - how is this any different from buying the Sydney Entertainment book?

Spend 60 for the book now and receive 1000's of vouchers! 25% off and buy 1 meal get 1 free?

  • so what happens if 30 people don't end up buying it? do the people who paid get..nothing? or a gift voucher for the $35 they paid? please elaborate on the process!

  • just noticed it changed from $35 to $30..

  • Thanks for all the questions. The deal is $30 for $60 worth of food and drinks. Nobody is charged until 30 people purchase, so if under 30 people buy then absolutely nothing happens. We like Bistro Lilly, Vsia - so let's agree to disagree on restaurant choice :).

    • is this one of those group buy sort of things? where if 30 people buy, it's $30.. 50 people buy, it's $25 etc. or is 30 people the maximum?

      • It's 30 people at minimum, but there's no maximum! However, the deal will always be $30 for $60 worth of food and drinks.

  • I am interested in buying this but now sure how it works. I wanted to buy three vouchers ($180 value) for $105 so then I can use it towards their $69 5 course degustation plus flight. But can it only be used one per table? I think more details are needed

    • i'm guessing to avoid people abusing the gift card they only let you use one gift card per table per visit

    • So_fetch, mrdavedave is right. Bistro only allows 1 gift voucher per table.

      • I just rung ouffer, not sure if you're the one who answered but i told them i wanted to buy 3 vouchers and use them in 1 table and he said its fine. so now its 1 voucher per table?

        • So_fetch - to be clear, you can buy 3 vouchers, but you can only use 1 per table. Hope that helps!

  • It's a great deal but we just need a rep to answer some questions!!

  • Hello!
To get all the details on Ouffer and how it works please visit: http://ouffer.com/howoufferworks. Regarding an issue raised in the previous thread: if 30 people do not sign up for this deal, nobody will get charged.

In other words, if a deal does not enlist the minimum number of members required (in this case 30), those who signed up will not pay anything.

Please email us at [email protected] if you have any questions.

    Thanks!

  • ok i just gave them a call and asked them about the restrictions imposed on this offer.

the way their website works is that for the offer to go ahead, they need a certain number (30) people to sign up for this offer. If it goes ahead, you pay the amount payable for the said offer.

He mentioned a few restrictions on this offer:
    - All vouchers must be used in 1 sitting. For example you purchase a $60 voucher for $35. You cannot spend $20 on one day and $40 the next.
    - It doesn't include taxes and gratuities
    - expires august 1st 2010

    hope that helps.

    • Can u use 2 vouchers in 1 sitting for larger groups?
      2 X 30 dollar vouchers = 120 dollars?

      • +1

Nah you can't! But in true Ozbargain spirit, I've thought of a way to bypass this. Just go as two tables for "one" and use both coupons for a regular degustation (at $69 per person). That way ull only end up paying $39 per person! and really, you'll have more table space and can just simply shout to your significant other from across the room!
